Gestern ist das – erstmals online ausge­tra­gene – Roma-Film­festival „Ake Dikhea?“ (wir berichteten) mit einer live ge­stream­ten Ab­schluss­gala zu Ende ge­gangen, bei der die dies­jäh­ri­gen Preis­träger­filme be­kannt ge­ge­ben wur­den.

Wie jedes Jahr bestimmt auch die diesjährige Festivaljury – Katalin Barsony, Paul Dandos, Rebecca Heiler und Lisa Smith – den „Besten Film“ sowie „Besten Kurzfilm“ des Fes­ti­vals. Künst­lerische und hand­werk­liche Qualität spie­len dabei eben­so eine Rolle wie die gesell­schaft­li­che und politi­sche Wir­kung der Filme. Darüber hinaus sind eben­so die Zu­schau­er*innen nach ihrer Meinung ge­fragt: Auch in der vier­ten Ausgabe des Festivals war­tet der Publikumspreis auf seine*n Preisträger*in! Der Künst­leri­sche Leiter des Festivals Hamze Bytyçi mode­riert durch eine feier­liche Preis­verleihung, live ge­streamt aus dem legen­dären Berliner „Club SO36“, für die musika­li­sche Be­gleitung sorgen die Sängerin, Song­writerin und Schau­spie­lerin Riah Knight, der Sänger, Per­former und Schau­spieler Lindy Larsson und die Musiker Janko Lauenberger, Daniel Weltlinger und Daniel Khan.

As every year, this year’s festival jury – Katalin Barsony, Paul Dandos, Rebecca Heiler and Lisa Smith – will select the Best Film and the Best Short Film of the festival. Artistic and techni­cal quality play just as much a role as the social and political impact of the films. Fur­ther­more, the audience is also asked for their opinion: The Audience Award will again be wai­ting for its winner in the fourth edition of the festi­val! The artis­tic director of the fes­tival Hamze Bytyçi will host the award cere­mony, streamed live from the legen­dary Berlin club SO36. The singer, song­writer and actress Riah Knight, the singer and actor Lindy Larsson, and the musi­cians Janko Lauenberger, Daniel Weltlinger and Daniel Khan will pro­vide the musical ac­com­pani­ment.
