Nun können wir in Österreich diese Richtung auch einschlagen.“ So sprach Usnija Buligovic von THARA mit Gilda Horvath über bisherige Erfolge und die neuen Schwerpunkte des Projekts bis Jänner 2013.
Das arbeitsmarktpolitische Projekt der Volkshilfe Österreich für Roma THARA ist gerade bis Jänner 2013 verlängert worden. Gemeinsam mit dem Bundesministerium für Arbeit, Soziales und Konsumentenschutz wird mit verschiedenen Schwerpunkten für Roma am Arbeitsmarkt gearbeitet. Mittlerweile wurden in fast allen Wiener AMS-Filialen Sensibilisierungs-Workshops für BeraterInnen gehalten. Das Feedback der MitarbeiterInnen ist überraschend positiv. April 2012 ist die Präsentation der neuen Broschüre „Roma in der Arbeitswelt“ geplant, die im Rahmen von „THARA – Romani Butji“ entstanden ist. Abseits davon können sich UnternehmerInnen aus der Community – und solche, die es noch werden wollen, zur Unternehmensgründungsberatung anmelden. Diese deckt sowohl Beratung zur Gründung als auch zur Finanzierung ab.
