Lovara-Lieder als Unesco-Kulturerbe
Am 10. November 2011 wurde im Wiener Traditionscafé Weimar das Lovara-Liedgut als immaterielles Kulturerbe der UNESCO anerkannt und geschützt. Die Leiterin der UNESCO-Nationalagentur Maria Walcher zeigte im Gespräch mit Antragstellerin Ruzsa Nikolić-Lakatos deutlich ihre Freude über die Auszeichnung und outete sich genauso wie die Präsidentin der österreichischen UNESCO-Kommission Eva Nowotny als „Ruzsa“-Fan. Die Sängerin übernahm die offizielle Urkunde gemeinsam mit ihrer Enkelin Shirin Lakatos und Journalistin Gilda Horvath.
