Gala-Konzert der Roma und Sinti Philharmoniker zum 10-jährigen Bestehen des Philharmonischen Vereins in Frankfurt

Mit einem Gala-Konzert der „Roma und Sinti Philharmoniker“ würdigt der Philharmonische Verein der Sinti und Roma Frankfurt am Main e.V. am Sonntag, 25. September 2011, ab 19 Uhr im Sendesaal des Hessischen Rundfunks seine Gründung vor zehn Jahren. Er versteht sich seitdem als Trägerverein jenes Orchesters, das im Jahr 2002 mit 24 Streichern und dem Romageiger Roby Lakatos als Solist sein Gründungskonzert gab. Zum Gala-Konzert steht Roby Lakatos erneut als Solist vor dem Ensemble, das seit seinem Antrittskonzert an Größe und bundesweiter Beachtung zugenommen hat: Der Klangkörper, ursprünglich als Streichorchester gegründet, hat sich unter der kontinuierlichen Leitung von Riccardo M Sahiti zu sinfonischer Größe verdreifacht.
Entsprechend dimensioniert ist auch das musikalische Programm des Gala-Konzerts mit gleich vier Instrumentalsolisten: Neben Roby Lakatos, der sich mit Sarasates „Zigeunerweisen“ angekündigt hat, geben sich die romastämmige Pianistin Mihaela Ursuleasa mit Franz Listzts 1. Klavierkonzert in Es-Dur, der Kontrabassprofessor und Solokontrabassist Roman Patkoló und der Geiger Geza Hosszu-Legocky mit Giovanni Bottesinis „Gran Duo Concertante“ und letzterer auch mit Camille Saint-Saens’ „Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso“ die Ehre. Kein Zufall, dass Franz Liszt das Programm der Gala dominiert: Mit seinem „Mephisto-Walzer“ Nr. 1 und seiner Ungarischen Rhapsodie Nr. 2 gedenken die Philharmoniker des 200. Geburtstages von Franz Liszt. Wie viele Momente dieses Konzertes tragen auch Zoltán Kodalys „Tänze aus Galánta“ von der Romakultur inspirierte musikalische Züge, ebenso wie Rodion Schtschedrins im Konzert erklingende „Carmen-Suite“ nach Georges Bizet für Streichorchester und Schlagzeug.
