„Learning together“ – Roma in Europa

Unter der Koordination des Polycollege trafen sich Roma aus fünf Ländern in Wien, um sich über ihre Erfahrungen innerhalb ihrer Projekten auszutauschen. Die Projektpartner stammen aus Schweden, Deutschland, Rumänien, Frankreich und Österreich. „Learning together“ ist der Titel des Projekts, bei dem alle Projektpartner sich gegenseitig „zu Hause“ besuchen, um zu analysieren, um zu diskutieren und um zu lernen. Einer der Teilnehmer ist Marcel Courtiade. Er arbeitet bereits an der Universität Sorbonne und lebt in Paris. Der französische Rom ist Linguist und trägt zur Erforschung von Romanes bei. „Meine Motivation hier teilzunehmen ist die Hebung des Bildungsstandards in der Volksgruppe der Roma“, erläutert er im Interview mit Gilda Horvath.
Daniel Erebeldinger ist Roma-Vertreter des rumänischen Partners und Mitinitiator des Projekts: „Es ist toll, sich auf einer so internationalen Ebene austauschen zu können“, erklärt er. Die Sinti sind mit einem Projekt aus Deutschland vertreten. „Madhouse“ ist eine Münchner Initiative für Sinti und Roma.
