„Ich hoffe diese Veranstaltung gibt es auch dann noch, wenn ich nicht da bin“, erklärte Initiator Harri Stojka im Dialog mit Sissi Stojka, Doris Stojka und Adam Wickerl, geführt von Gilda-Nancy Horvath. Es erfülle sie alle mit viel Freude, dass jedes Jahr mehr Menschen am Gedenkfest im Barankapark teilnehmen. Bereits zum fünften Mal findet am 20. Mai (Mongo Stojkas Geburtstag) die Gedenkfeier im Wiener „Barankapark“ statt. Für die musikalische Unterhaltung sorgen dieses Jahr natürlich Initiator Harri Stojka mit Band, Uli Bäer und Moša Šišic. Dieses Jahr wurde zusätzlich zur traditionellen Feier ein Filmscreening am Tag davor veranstaltet. Dabei wurden „Gipsy Spirit“, Harri Stojkas Suche nach seinen musikalischen Wurzeln in Indien, sowie ein Interview der USC SHOAH Foundation mit Mongo Stojka aus dem Jahr 1998 gezeigt. Im Interview erzählt der Zeitzeuge herzlich und gerade heraus aus der Vergangenheit.
