Im Sommer 2009 tingelte eine Gruppe von Londoner Filmemachern durch Rumänien, um in mehreren Roma-Siedlungen ihr Clown-Theater aufzuführen. Für die Kinder und Erwachsenen der Roma-Communities war das Gastspiel eine willkommene Unterhaltung; für die Clowns und Filmemacher eine ideale Gelegenheit, mit den Menschen in Kontakt zu treten. Aus diesen Begegnungen entstand mit den Mitteln des British Arts Council ein Dokumentarfilm über die Lebenswirklichkeit der vielfach ausgegrenzten Minderheit. Regie führten Daniele Jimmy Henderson, ein aus Italien stammender Sozialarbeiter und ehemaliger Krankenhausclown, und Dickon Bevan, Umweltanthropologe und Menschenrechtsaktivist aus England.
