Der österreichische Schriftsteller, Übersetzer und Journalist Martin Pollack hat im polnischen Łódź recherchiert und sich dann ins Burgenland begeben. Er suchte in Goberling, in Stegersbach, in Kemeten und in Neustift an der Lafnitz. Martin Pollack suchte nach einer Tafel. Nach irgendeiner Art des Gedenkens oder Erinnerns an 5.000 ermordete burgenländische Roma. Aber entweder wollte man nicht, sah keinen Grund und Anlass oder versuchte, Schwierigkeiten aus dem Weg zu gehen und Widerstände zu vermeiden.
